The unique palmated antlers and vivid coloration of their coat make a Fallow Buck a handsome addition to your trophy hunt. Introduced from Europe, they have spread through much of New Zealand and are now well established. Fallow deer can be found in four different coat colorations; chocolate (black), spotted, white and grey.
During the rut their call is a loud distinctive croak and bucks fight very aggressively, sometimes to the death. The fallow rut is April/May and we hunt these pretty deer from mid-February through August.
