New
Zealand Waterfowl and Upland Game Birds
All
species of NZ Game Birds may be hunted during the
NZ Fish & Game Bird hunting season. There is no
charge for NZ Game Birds, however hunters will need
to purchase a Fish & Game Bird Hunting License
prior to any hunting activities and must abide by
all applicable Fish & Game hunting regulations
(found
here). Any guiding required from WQNZ will incur
a guide fee. Contact us for more information.
Subject
to the above, the following NZ Game Birds are available
for hunting: Pheasant, Partridge, Quail, Paradise Shelduck
and Pukeko.
